Dear Members and Friends of Pennsauken UMC,
I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits. I am writing to share some important news concerning our beloved sister congregation, the East Pennsauken congregation.
Yesterday, following their service, the East Pennsauken congregation made the difficult decision to suspend their services through Labor Day. This decision was not made lightly but was deemed necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. During this period, the members of East Pennsauken will be joining us for worship at our 9:30 AM service.
This temporary arrangement marks a significant moment in their spiritual journey, and it is our privilege to extend our fellowship and support to them during this time. The East Pennsauken congregation has always been an integral part of our broader church family, and now more than ever, they need our prayers and encouragement.
I ask that each of you keep the members of East Pennsauken in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this troubling time. Let us welcome them with open arms and warm hearts, offering them the same love and hospitality that Pennsauken UMC is known for. This is an opportunity for us to come together as one united community, demonstrating the strength and compassion of our faith.
Please note that we will reevaluate this situation after Labor Day to determine the best course of action moving forward. Your understanding and flexibility during this period are greatly appreciated.
As we move forward, let us remember that our church is not just a building but a community of believers who support one another in times of need. The bonds we share are strengthened through acts of kindness, understanding, and fellowship. Together, we can make this transition period a positive and uplifting experience for everyone involved.
Thank you for your continued dedication and support. I look forward to seeing you all at our combined services and witnessing the beautiful unity of our congregations.
May God's grace and peace be with you all.
Peace,
Andrew Kramer, MATM, MBA
